Aircon servicing and regassing

It’s the really warm day at the start of Summer (In Northern Ireland it is usually that one week of the year in April where the temperature is freakishly warm!),you get in the car and turn on that AC button that probably hasn’t been turned on in months and it just blows warm air. Your air conditioning isn’t working and you realise just how much you miss it!

  • Aircon Recharge / Regas

    Chances are the gas in your air conditioning system is low and just needs a recharge. There may not be a leak in the system, over time gas refrigerant can leak from the system and it just requires a regassing also known as a recharge.

    Give us a call and bring your car in, we will put it on our machine to check it out, we will be able to tell if there is a major leak or not and we can also top your system up. This process is a common maintenance process for older vehicles that still use Freon as a refrigerant. Most modern cars have started using a newer more environmentally friendly refrigerant called R134a instead, which doesn’t need to be topped off as often.
